My ticket to the 1991 Mamas and Papas regrouped concert at Lake Lanier, Georgia. I took John’s “Papa John” autobiography with me and got to meet Scott McKenzie and Spanky McFarlane and got their autographs; John and MacKenzie Phillips had already left the stage and were in the car, but Scott was kind enough to take the book to them and get them to autograph it for me. I still can’t believe I took the book and forgot my camera!
